The course has a clear focus - we want you to think beyond the traditional physical education (PE) curriculum and to become agents of change in the environments you go on to work in. While traditional activities are integral to the PE curriculum, they dont suit everyone, so we have scope for more inclusive, innovative, and challenging activities to be considered within the school environment. Well help you develop knowledge and understanding in a range of activities, both traditional and non-traditional. We want to develop your interest in both primary and secondary PE to allow you to become a teacher, leader, and educator for the future €“ who inspires young people to participate in PE, physical activity, and sport. Throughout the course, youll gain an in-depth understanding of a broad and varied range of topics based on theory and practice.
