Course Overview

As part of this course, you’ll:

• Learn about language acquisition, systems and teaching methodology and apply it to your teaching practice

• Build your understanding of socio-cultural aspects of language in educational settings and the home environment. You’ll learn how these aspects affect attainment and wellbeing

• Discover how to create truly inclusive multicultural classrooms

• Develop your identity and communication skills as an English as an Additional Language (EAL) professional

• Hone your practice during classroom sessions and through reflective practice in a supportive, personalised learning environment

General Eligibility

Applicants should either have at least a second-class honours degree or have substantial English Language Teaching work experience.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• IELTS 6.0 with no skills below 5.5, or an equivalent qualification.
