Course Overview

As a graduate chartered member of the British Psychological Society, youll be ready to undertake further training in clinical psychology €“ ultimately going on to improve the psychological well-being of clients. Youre likely to work in the NHS, in settings such as hospitals, community mental health teams, or child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS). There are also options to work in private practice. Psychologists have skills that are sought after in other industries too, including the ability to understand social behavior and analyze data. Whichever path interests you most, you can be sure that youll graduate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities that the industry needs. We work with employers, and they help us review what we teach and how we teach it €“ offering hands-on, practical opportunities to learn through work-based projects, internships, or placements.

General Eligibility

UK 5 GCSE passes at grade 3 or above (for GCSE's taken prior to 2017 a grade E will be accepted) plus evidence of having attempted two years of post GCSE study. 19 points for International Baccalaureate. (EU & International nationals ONLY): 40. UCAS Tariff points at A/AS level. For A levels taken prior to 2017, the requirement is 100 tariff points. 22 points for International Baccalaureate.
