BA (Hons) Counselling, Coaching and Mentoring with Foundation Year

This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become effective counselors, coaches, and mentors. Students will learn how to help individuals, families, and groups overcome a range of challenges, including mental health issues, relationship problems, and career concerns. The foundation year provides an opportunity for students to develop their academic and study skills, before progressing to the honours degree. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to apply their knowledge and skills in a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, and community organizations.

Additional Information

This course is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), which means that graduates are eligible to become members of the BACP and pursue careers as counselors, coaches, or mentors. The course also includes a range of work-based learning opportunities, allowing students to gain practical experience in the field.

Applicants should normally have 64 UCAS Tariff points. We will also welcome applications from students with few or no formal Level 3 qualifications who wish to return to education.
