Scholarship Policy

The Foundation of Fulton-Montgomery Community College, Inc. provides institutional scholarships to make up the difference between college costs and what a family can be expected to contribute through income, savings, loans, and student earnings. The FM Foundation receives support from the Fulton and Montgomery County communities, which enables them to provide a large range of scholarships. Scholarships are available for freshman, continuing, and non-traditional students and awards range from $100 to full tuition. Awards may be based on academic merit, financial need or other factors. Staff members and/or dependents of staff members who may receive tuition benefits are not eligible to receive FM Foundation funded scholarships. Need-based scholarship applicants must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and demonstrate financial need to be considered. Amounts and availability of the awards are subject to change.
