Our Marketing BA course will provide you with an in-depth understanding of all areas of contemporary marketing and how that fits into the wider business function and society.
You’ll learn how to select and apply appropriate methods and techniques to develop marketing solutions to challenges faced by some of the biggest companies in the world.
You will study emerging trends and gain real-world experiences through our partnerships with award winning digital marketing agencies giving you the opportunity to develop the necessary skills and attributes to succeed in a professional marketing position.
You can also expect to develop knowledge of the range of marketing disciplines, the relationships between them and their application to practice. For instance, you’ll apply knowledge of customers, markets, brands, market research and marketing strategy to propose, justify and implement effective marketing solutions. Which ultimately will enhance your skills, knowledge and behaviours to help you contribute to the development of a just, peaceful and sustainable world.
This course is accredited and recognised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) graduate gateway programme. Making us distinct and internationally recognised for you to stand out in the market. The CIM allows you to gain exemptions from professional qualifications, meaning you can obtain them more quickly and advance faster in your career (subject to module choice).
A typical offer is 112 UCAS points from at least two A-Levels, or
BTEC National Diploma/Extended Diploma at DMM
Plus, five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and Mathematics or equivalent.
The Key Skills Certificate at Level 3 in communication and numeracy can be offered as an alternative.
Alternative qualifications include:
Pass Access with 30 Level 3 credits at Merit (or equivalent) with English (Language or Literature) and Maths GCSE required as separate qualifications at grade 4
We will normally require students to have had a break from full-time education before undertaking the Access course.
International Baccalaureate: 26+ points
20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
If English is not your first language an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each band (or equivalent) when you start the course is essential.
