Compliance Officer

Boost Education Service is a student recruitment agency. We are working with 150+ Higher Education institutions in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand including top Universities and colleges. As a Compliance Officer at Boost Education Service, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our organization operates within legal and regulatory frameworks. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the compliance program, as well as monitoring and enforcing adherence to internal policies and external regulations. Your meticulous attention to detail, in-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders will be crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and areas of improvement.

  • Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance requirements and best practices.

  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

  • Investigate and report any compliance breaches or violations promptly.

  • Collaborate with relevant departments to develop corrective action plans and ensure their implementation.

  • Maintain an effective system for tracking, documenting, and resolving compliance-related issues.

  • Continuously monitor regulatory developments and industry trends to ensure compliance programs are up-to-date.

  • Interpret and communicate changes in regulations and their impact on the organization.

  • Advise management and employees on compliance-related matters, offering guidance and support.

  • Promote awareness of compliance responsibilities and ethical behavior throughout the organization.

  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to incorporate compliance into employee performance evaluation processes.

  • Provide guidance and support to employees seeking clarification on compliance matters.

  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, external auditors, and other relevant stakeholders on compliance-related matters.

  • Respond to inquiries, requests, and audits from external parties, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field. A relevant master’s degree or certification is a plus.

  • Proven work experience as a compliance officer or in a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as data protection, education laws, and accreditation requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    – Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to adapt to changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards.
