Web Programmer- AI & ML Engineer (KTP)

BHEUNI.IO, a London-based student recruitment agency, operates in the UK, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, and Nigeria. We work with leading higher education institutions worldwide. This role is part of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) between BHE Uni and CSG, aiming to develop an AI-based Intelligent CRM system that will optimise national and international student recruitment, improve admission success rates, and enhance student retention and course fee revenue for partner universities.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain an intelligent web scraping tool to collect and update real-time data from various sources. Design and implement Reinforcement Learning models to automate and improve candidate-university matching. Build and integrate AI-powered systems into a digital CRM platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise dashboards and enhance user experience. Ensure full compliance with GDPR, data protection laws, and company confidentiality policies. Promote ethical and responsible use of AI within all implemented systems. Contribute to documentation and support training for internal users. Stay updated with the latest developments in AI, ML, NLP, and web technologies.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or postgraduate specialization in NLP, Information Retrieval, Data Mining, or related disciplines is a strong advantage.

Job Requirements:

Strong knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and machine learning applications. Practical experience with web scraping tools and data engineering techniques. Understanding of Reinforcement Learning and real-time model updating. Experience with data analytics, model deployment, and software/system integration. Awareness of AI ethics, data privacy, and industry compliance standards. Proven experience in delivering complex AI/data-driven projects, preferably in commercial environments. Background in international student recruitment and CRM platforms is desirable. Experience in project management (e.g., PRINCE2) is a plus.

• Competitive salary: £40,000–£50,000 per year
