Throughout the programme, students will develop a solid foundation of skills essential to effective mental health and wellbeing practice for a successful graduate career. With ethical practice at its core, this degree is structured to provide students with the knowledge and skills essential for working in a diverse range of mental health and wellbeing services and making positive differences to the lives of individuals and their communities.
Students will examine biological, psychological, social, cultural and environmental factors that influence mental health and wellbeing throughout individual lives. Similarly, students will develop an understanding between clinical, non-clinical and individuals' perspectives.
Students will also explore the services across public, private and third sectors working to improve, maintain and promote mental health and wellbeing.

BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma: DMM in a business-related subject.
International Baccalaureate Diploma: 24 points.
All applicants are required to have at least 3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English and Maths.
Candidates who meet the above entry criteria, but have been out of study for 5 years, will be required to pass an academic interview.
We will also consider applications to level 4 entry from those who are not able to meet our normal course entry requirements but can demonstrate that they have achieved the required level of knowledge and skills and have the potential to benefit from the course, for example: through relevant work experience and professional development.
