You’ll have the opportunity to build hands-on experience without ever leaving campus. As you work toward your bachelor’s in Finance, you’ll have access to the Malesardi Finance Trading Room, allowing you to work with accurate information in real-time and start planning your career. We also offer state-of-the-art finance software, including live trading simulations, access to Morningstar Research Center, and a running ticker that scans and posts the latest market information. Additionally, Bloomberg Certification will be incorporated into your coursework. Finally, you’ll have the option to take courses that qualify you for the Certified Financial Planners exam as part of your undergraduate studies. Elmira is one of only 31 schools in the Northeast with a CFP® Board–recognized undergraduate program that fulfills the education requirement to sit for the exam. You will learn essential skills and specialized knowledge to help you excel in various careers, from commercial banking to asset management. General Eligibility

The Finance major offers three concentrations: general finance, financial analysis, and financial planning. Regardless of which concentration (s) you choose, the coursework is designed to equip you with cutting-edge skills and knowledge to succeed in the finance sector.
