Events Management is a fast-paced and dynamic industry; no day is the same; youll have opportunities to travel the world, work with exciting people and continuously challenge yourself. With us, youll learn the skills required through practical hands-on application and the academic know-how needed to succeed in a competitive market. You will learn through practical application and creatively delivered lectures, workshops, seminars, and group work sessions. They coordinate your event as part of the annual assessment and work with charities and external clients to create event concepts and volunteer at events throughout the year (e.g. NCRI in Liverpool, CHS in Leeds, Chester Food & Culture Festival). Industry software training, creating event design concepts, operating the technology and equipment behind events, and attending field trips. Complete additional qualifications embedded in the modules, such as Food Hygiene Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely, and CVENT Certificate and have the opportunity to complete further qualifications such as Personal Licence Holders (RFQ). Future-focused subjects are delivered by lecturers who have worked in the industry or are currently conducting cutting-edge research. Industry experts are giving guest lectures.
