Course Overview

International Relations at Chester is an internationally research-informed course that offers students multiple world perspectives on the key global issues affecting the world today. A unique blend of theoretical and practical skills is gained through the course to enable graduates to contribute to an understanding of the changing nature of the world around us. The program team comprises active researchers and specialists who are committed to providing a transformative and world-informed education that contributes to greater global citizenship.

Our passionate International Relations Team shares a number of research awards and local and international teaching awards. Last year, the university research-informed teaching award was awarded to a staff member in this program.

General Eligibility

GCE A Level:

112 UCAS points from GCE A Levels or equivalent. Typical offer - BCC/BBC

BTEC:

BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM

T Level:

T Level with a Merit grade

Irish/Scottish Highers:

Irish Highers - H3, H3, H3, H3, H4

Scottish Highers - BBBB

International Baccalaureate :

26 points

Access requirements:

Access to HE Diploma to include 45 credits at level 3, 30 of which must be at Merit.

OCR:

OCR National Extended Diploma: Merit 2

OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma - DMM

OCR Cambridge Technical Diploma - D*D*

Extra Information / General Entry Requirements:

Please note that we accept a maximum of 8 points from GCE AS Levels and that the Welsh Baccalaureate (core) and A-level General Studies will be recognized in our offer. We will also consider a combination of A levels and BTECs/OCRs.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
