Course Overview

People are an organizations most important asset; maximizing their potential is key to a business's success. In this course, you will learn how you can play a key role in developing, reinforcing, and changing the culture of an organization through effective management of human resources and the creation of sound business strategies. An in-depth study of practice and contemporary theories will equip you with advanced knowledge of management principles in business and HR. We will take the study of management and organizations from their historical roots to the present day, and, using real-life examples, we will teach you to critically analyze organizational development and the possible consequences on human resource management. The international aspect of the course allows you to explore the complexities of management within organizations that operate and trade across multiple countries and gain an understanding of management in a global context.
