Course Overview

You will learn to use the key tools used by the professionals: training in Minitab, Excel and Sage is embedded in your learning. In addition, specific modules focus on your professional development so that you graduate with the necessary skills to take the first steps in your career.

Our Business Management with Finance course is dual accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the only chartered professional body in the UK dedicated to promoting the highest standards in management and leadership excellence. We have also worked with industry partners to make sure the programme is highly practical, career-focused and industry-informed to prepare you for a successful management career. Our staff are here to support your learning; on this course, 95% of students asked agreed that the course provided opportunities to bring information and ideas together from different topics (University of Salford analysis of unpublished NSS 2022 data). You'll also have access to a wide range of opportunities that help you develop your real-world skills, such as live projects, a year's paid work placement and study abroad.

During your degree, you will have the option to participate in the Study Abroad programme. The programmes allows you the chance to spend your second year studying on an international exchange with one of our global partner institutions in Europe, the US or the rest of the world

  • Learn the essential skills for a successful career in Financial Management

  • Build the business experience required for general management positions

  • Develop the skills that employers look for such as project planning, team working and self-presentation

General Eligibility

GCSE

Maths and English at grade C or grade 4 or above.

You must fulfil our GCSE entry requirements as well as one of the requirements listed below.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
