In todays global context, fluent spoken and written English is increasingly valued, and this degree program will equip you with English language skills and fluency that will attract international employers throughout the world. Graduates can use English as a global language in the world of education or business and establish personal and professional networks. The program also offers an opportunity to those who intend to train, as TESOL professionals, and teach English in the UK or internationally to develop these skills through the optional Theory and Practice in English Language Teaching Module. Classes develop language skills through group discussions, presentations, and reading and writing tasks. Lessons use a combination of the latest English language resources and authentic materials. Please note this course is only open to second-language speakers of English.
