The BSc Hons Computer Networking aims to provide you with the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to work in this exciting and ever-evolving field and help keep all aspects of modern life connected. Youll discover how networking hardware and software work together to keep people and organizations connected, and support the wide range of services we expect our networks to provide. Youll cover the curriculum of the CCNA professional certification, explore Windows and Unix/Linux system administration and learn about data security and network management. This course is accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS) as fully meeting the academic requirements for registration as a Chartered IT Professional. It is also recognized by the BCS, on behalf of the Engineering Council, as fully meeting the academic requirements for registration as an Incorporated Engineer and partially meeting the academic requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer. Part-time students must complete their studies within 6 years to gain BCS recognition.
