Course Overview

Clinical psychology involves applying psychological understanding to difficulties connected with mental or physical health problems. Using this understanding, clinical psychologists assess and treat people of all ages and ability levels who are experiencing psychological distress, behavioral problems, or related issues. Students taking the MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology will be introduced to the theory and knowledge that underpins effective practice in clinical psychology, will explore this in relation to a range of conditions, will gain an understanding of the range of research methods used by clinical psychologists, and will conduct their own research project in a relevant area.

General Eligibility

We accept students with a wide range of qualifications and backgrounds and consider each application individually.

All students need to have good basic skills and the University also values IT and communication skills.

As part of the University’s policy, we consider applications from prospective disabled students on the same grounds as all other students.

Part Time Work Details

The 20 hours are the total hours. It is not per job. If you hold multiple part-time jobs then the total hours of all the work you are doing are added together.

Language Requirement

  • Bangor University also recognizes Non-SELT Tests and Online Tests as mentioned below for direct entry to its degree programs.  

    Also, scores lower than the IELTS 6.0 equivalent in any of these non-SELT and Online tests.
