BSc (Hons) Accounting

Course Overview

The staff who run our accounting degrees at Hull have real-world experience. It's a testament to the quality of their teaching that many of our graduates go on to become accountants with the ‘Big Four’ accountancy firms: Ernst & Young, Deloitte, PwC, and KPMG, or organizations such as the IMF and World Bank.

You'll develop an in-depth understanding of global accounting through placements, projects, case studies, guest lectures, and online mentoring.

You use the Business School's industry-standard facilities, like Bloomberg Financial Markets Laboratory, which you'll use to practice trading. Summer schools are also available with a range of overseas partners.

Make connections with professional industry networks, like-minded entrepreneurs, and corporate partners in our newly enhanced Business Lounge. Conveniently located in the Business School, it’s a vibrant hub for organizations to collaborate and work creatively, as well as helping to build links with our programs, including placement and live business project opportunities that are embedded throughout your studies. It’s also a great space for our students to meet, learn from, and make an impression on decision-makers, laying the foundations for your future career – all on campus.
