Course Overview

Our BA (Hons) Digital Media degree equips you with all the technical and design skills you’ll need to produce original and striking multimedia projects across multiple platforms.

Guided by a skilled team, you’ll develop an understanding of the history and theory of digital media. You will use specialist facilities including computer suites and professional video and sound recording equipment. You'll have the opportunity to study modules to develop a range of multimedia skills such as web design, computer animation (2D and 3D), digital imaging, visual communications, motion graphics, and digital entrepreneurship.

Our BA (Hons) Digital Media course is designed to enable you to define a creative solution to a specific issue or task in a number of different professional contexts. In this sense, the skills you will gain are transferable across a wide range of careers. For example, roles that recent graduates have secured include Web Designer, Animator, Food Photographer, 3D CGI Artist, YouTuber, Content Designer, Graphic Designer, Marketing Assistant, Digital Marketing Professional, UX/UI Designer, Design and Marketing Director, Film Producer, Influencer, Motion Designer, and Architectural Designer.

BTEC: MPP

Access: Pass 45 Credits

International Baccalaureate: TBC

Combinations: A combination of qualifications totaling 64 UCAS points minimum

Applicants should normally have 64 UCAS Tariff points. We will also welcome applications from students with few or no formal Level 3 qualifications who wish to return to education and applicants may be asked to attend an interview.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.

• IELTS 6.5 or equivalency – with no less than 5.5 in any element.
