BA (Hons) Post-Production for Film and Television

Unite your passion for the creative and technical aspects of film production with a degree that covers storytelling, project management and knowledge of industry-standard software.

No TV show or film is complete without the processes you’ll learn on this Post-Production in Film and Television degree. You’ll learn about video editing, visual effects, colour grading, post sound and the workflows of post production tasks, using practical assessments and professional software, such as Premiere and After Effects, in our devoted video editing lab.

You’ll be learning from academic staff with Avid and Adobe certifications, and applying your new knowledge through practical assessments, or work experience and placement opportunities built into the syllabus. You'll also be able to visit post-production industry contacts as part of your study, including alumni from the university's film and television degrees at companies like Disney and Discovery UK.

You’ll graduate with the skillset needed by every film and TV programme production company, and with experience of putting those skills to work for your showreel.

• UCAS points – 112–128 points to include a minimum of 2 A Levels, or equivalent, including a film/media related subject.
