This part-time course will allow you to develop a critical understanding of Computer Science, mainly using Artificial Intelligence to solve problems and software engineering skills to build software solutions. You will be able to discuss your modules on a part-time basis (up to 8 years), where you will develop software design and engineering skills, which will later be used to allow you to develop software algorithms and use artificial intelligence-based tools and concepts.
In addition, you will develop a critical understanding of problem-solving using various analysis techniques to design and implement software that will solve a wide range of complex problems.
In your final year, you will have the opportunity to study a range of modules based on specialized topics within artificial intelligence, which are delivered by staff who are internationally recognized experts.
