The course examines the essentials of management theory and practice and the core principles and practices of business and organizations in a local and international context. You will gain a broad knowledge and expertise in the design and implementation of strategy at different levels of the corporate organization and of other types of organizations such as public, not-for-profit, and cooperative. Specialist modules will help you to develop a deeper understanding of management, governance, and regulatory issues within the business of sport.
You will then use your critical analysis and independent judgment skills to write a dissertation setting out solutions to complex managerial problems in all types of organizations.
Graduates can pursue career paths in sports management and administration, education, and general management within the local and national government, business, and industry. Possible professions include:

Our standard postgraduate entry requirement is a second-class honors degree (2:2 or above) from a UK university or an equivalent international qualification.
20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
If English is not your first language or you have not previously studied in English, our usual requirement is the equivalent of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic Test) score of 6.5, with not less than 6.0 in each of the sub-tests.
