Course Overview

Our Medical Biosciences BSc, delivered as a partnership with Aston University and EAIM, Singapore, will equip you with the training, professional skills and technical knowledge required for a rewarding career in biomedical science or research in the allied health professions. Throughout this course, you will study a range of subjects that are essential to understanding human health and disease. Youll discover more about the role biomedical scientists play in healthcare settings, and how their motivation, knowledge and innovative thinking is utilised. You will develop your knowledge, skills and understanding, as well as gaining invaluable real-world insight, through your own research project, giving you the platform for a career that saves and transforms lives.

General Eligibility

Diploma: Diploma in Biomedical Science or related Life Sciences from the Polytechnics in Singapore with a minimum 2.0 GPA Proficiency in the English Language: Minimum EASB/ETEDP Level 3/ IELTS 6.5 with a minimum score of 6.0 in each component GCSE in English at level C or above. Entry will be at the start of stage 2 and will be via recognized prior learning of an approved program of study at the Diploma level.

  • IELTS Overall 6.5, Reading, Writing Listening, Speaking 6.0 Financial requirement You’ll need to show you have enough money to support yourself - unless you’ve been in the UK with a valid visa for at least 12 months on the date of your application. How much money you need depends on where you will be studying. You’ll need either: £1,334 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses outside London £1,023 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses inside London If you’re applying for the Doctorate Extension Scheme, and you’ve been in the UK for less than 12 months, you need to prove you have a total of £2,668 for courses in London, or a total of £2,046 for courses outside London. If you’re boarding at a residential independent school, you’ll need to pay boarding fees instead. The amount you need to pay will be on your CAS. London means the City of London and the 32 London boroughs.
