Individuals applying to the online MBA programme must have: A good UK honours degree or an equivalent overseas degree recognised by Aston University, together with 3 years of management experience, or If you do not have an honours degree or equivalent, you may be considered on 7+ years of management/progressive leadership experience, clearly detailed in your CV If you do not have management experience and are looking to enhance your business skills, Aston offers an Online MSc in Business and Management

3 Term 3
In term 3 you will undertake one optional module. You will select one module from the following optional modules. Please note that optional module selection process takes place during Term 1. Optional modules International Business International Marketing Management Advanced Strategy International Finance E-Business Strategy Services Innovation In addition, you will continue with the following core modules: Personal Leadership Focus This module commences in Term 1 and runs throughout all terms.
4 Term 4
The course concludes with a major business project * that gives you the opportunity to design your own learning experience to fit your own area of interest. This project acts as a springboard for your future career and as such, you can complete it in a number of ways: • Consultancy project on behalf of a client or your organisation • Business plan for your own business • Industry/themed research project • Internship (UK or overseas) and extended organisation-based project. *Project type is subject to availability. In addition you will conclude the following core modules: Personal Leadership Focus This module commences in Term 1 and runs throughout all terms. The Aston Edge/Leadership Development This module commences in Term 1 and runs throughout all terms.

Language Requirement

Financial requirement You’ll need to show you have enough money to support yourself - unless you’ve been in the UK with a valid visa for at least 12 months on the date of your application. How much money you need depends on where you will be studying. You’ll need either: £1,334 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses outside London £1,023 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses inside London If you’re applying for the Doctorate Extension Scheme, and you’ve been in the UK for less than 12 months, you need to prove you have a total of £2,668 for courses in London, or a total of £2,046 for courses outside London. If you’re boarding at a residential independent school, you’ll need to pay boarding fees instead. The amount you need to pay will be on your CAS. London means the City of London and the 32 London boroughs.
