Course Overview

Construction project managers play a crucial role in the industry, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. There is an increasing demand for construction project managers as the industry continues to grow, with more than two million people currently employed in the sector across the UK. Our construction project management course is designed to fill this demand, combining technical skills and commercial knowledge, with a focus on practical training. As youll be learning and living in the middle of Britains second city, youll also gain invaluable, real-life experience of the challenges and opportunities faced by the people and organisations responsible for constructing our built environment. Our Construction Management course prepares you to be able to manage a project from inception and design through to occupation, working to minimise costs and enhance value for money, delivering projects to the required quality.

General Eligibility

ANY SUBJECTS: BBC: Standard offer BCC: If the student is also presenting either Core Maths or Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) grade B BCC: Contextual/DTUS offer. OR; INCLUDING A SCIENCE OR TECHNICAL SUBJECT: BCC: including a science or technical subject. Standard offer CCC: If the student is also presenting either Core Maths or Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) grade B CCC: Contextual/DTUS offer. Science or technical subjects include Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Biology Further Maths, Design Technology, Engineering Science and Electronics, Geography and Geology. IB- 29 points and above with 5, 5, 4 in higher-level subjects if no science or technical subject studied 28 overall points with 5, 4, 4 in higher level subjects including a science or technical subject.

Language Requirement

  • IELTS: An overall minimum score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 for each individual IELTS skill. Financial requirement You’ll need to show you have enough money to support yourself - unless you’ve been in the UK with a valid visa for at least 12 months on the date of your application. How much money you need depends on where you will be studying. You’ll need either: £1,334 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses outside London £1,023 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses inside London If you’re applying for the Doctorate Extension Scheme, and you’ve been in the UK for less than 12 months, you need to prove you have a total of £2,668 for courses in London, or a total of £2,046 for courses outside London. If you’re boarding at a residential independent school, you’ll need to pay boarding fees instead. The amount you need to pay will be on your CAS. London means the City of London and the 32 London boroughs.
